Red Cliffe labs launched its first commercial drone corridor from Uttarkashi to Dehradun. According to the press statement released by the company, the project was a part of the Red Cliffe and Skye Air tie-up with over 40 successful trials completed in different parts of North India. The statement also announced that from 10th June, two flights will be operated for both routine and specialized test sample collection on daily basis by Red Cliffe labs.

Red Cliffe labs will also add its extensive and growing network of collection centers in 120+ cities with a name to make diagnostic care available to the remotest parts of the country. Dheeraj Jain, Founder, red Cliffe labs, stated that collecting samples from local clinics from far-off places has always been a struggle with over a week to get the report. However, with the opening of a new drone corridor, the turnaround time (TAT) has been reduced to 24 hours. He added that these initiatives will connect the remote corners, hilly areas, and tough-to-reach terrains to their lab, and change the landscape of diagnostic care and facility in India. 

Sharing his plans, Jain stated that the Red Cliffe labs are planning to expand its operations across the country in the next 12 months with the use of Drone technology to collect samples.
